Bay Terrace Hair is now proudly owned by Amy Armstrong, Founder & CEO of Gold Hair Collection.

Amy is a highly respected industry leader whose personal journey has shaped her deep passion for hair health, confidence, and transformational results. At just 19, while beginning her hairdressing apprenticeship, Amy experienced hair thinning herself—an experience that profoundly impacted her confidence and sparked a lifelong commitment to understanding female hair loss.

At a time when education and support around hair thinning were limited, Amy navigated years of trial, stress, and self-doubt, gaining first-hand insight into the emotional and psychological impact hair loss can have on women. Determined to find real solutions, she immersed herself in education, became an extension expert, and ultimately discovered hair toppers—a turning point that restored not only her volume, but her confidence.

That experience became the foundation of Gold Hair Collection, through which Amy has since helped thousands of women navigate hair thinning and hair loss with premium human hair toppers, honest education, and deeply compassionate support.

Her acquisition of Bay Terrace Hair marks an exciting new chapter—blending a much-loved, established local salon with innovative, specialised solutions for thinning hair, hair loss, and personalised hair confidence.
